A celebration of Cape Town’s contemporary furniture design industry.
In a city surrounded by so many brilliant creative minds and inspiring design talents, it’s special to see a project like this come to fruition.
The Cape Town Furniture Focus identity system is intentionally minimal and single-minded. Focused on form, simplicity, and subtle visual nods to both furniture construction and the 4-point ‘framing’ of a camera, the identity allows brand imagery to remain the focus while the graphic elements exist to enhance it. The letterforms of the ‘T’ and ‘F’ in the logomark have been modified to reference a dovetail joint, commonly found in wooden furniture. This subtle customisation represents the joining together of Cape Town’s best furniture designers in a collective, with CTFF as the uniting force.
